Is it just me or has Apple lost its touch on being innovative? I just upgraded my X to 15P and I’m not impressed at all. It seems like exactly the same phone but just a better camera.

What am I missing other than the fat price tag I just paid for this lackluster upgrade so far?

This is thanks to iOS feeling exactly the same besides some new features.

It’s all about perspective though… Promotion, cameras, battery, overall performance, internet and cellular speeds, different design aesthetic, cameras, satellite and crash detection, Dynamic Island, action button… etc… that’s a lot that is new since the X.

Maybe you should try a longer upgrade cycle? I went from 13 pro max to 15 pro max and I am more than happy with the improvements even from that. So don’t know what to tell you?

It’s prolly cuz we’ve reached peaked innovation, idk tho, just my hunch.

I currently own a 12PM and it’s still so good, even today, there really isnt any reason to upgrade your phone unless you want features like ProMotion, higher brightness, 5G, Always-on-display, better camera, better/optimized battery, and a better CPU, but I doubt the average person would even use or even need most of those features.

You’re the type of person for whom a phone is just a phone. Nothing wrong with that, just upgrade when your phone is broken and that’s it
