Hello, I have recently tried to use FMF on Ark Survival ascended using my AMD 6600, but to my surprise, it decreased my fps instead of increasing it, any ideas as to why it decreased my fps instead of increasing it?
With your GPU, the cost of generating the frames is higher than natively rendering more. If you adjust settings and scaling you may find a different result. Not sure though.
Very small drop in fps, regained w FMF. So have 60+ fps to start with.
Only Radeon Software shows the adjusted FG fps, all other monitoring software shows rendered fps.
Wont be more responsive, but visually smoother.
Which FPS counter are you using?
It is really awesome in Starfield with RX6600XT , Some games will still be hit or miss.
It’s a tech preview, don’t expect it to work with everything, or at all.
