I do have a kill switch case ordered and have Chiari4deck and a deck video app downloaded but I feel a little over my skis with all the cool shit this thing can do and would appreciate a sherpa. Thanks in advance!

    For emulation look into emudeck. It’ll install everything u need to be able to emulate any console u need

    Get the heroic games launcher from discover store, this will allow you to use ur free epic games they give away every week as well as gog and if u have Amazon prime, ur prime games too

    Look into the decky loader. This will allow u to install custom plug-ins to customize ur interface. Just have a look around the decky store but some basic ones to start with would be

    CSS Loader - will allow u to create a custom theme

    Protondb - see community ratings for how well a game runs (helps with seeing if unverified games work)

    Animation changer - change start up movie with a custom one from their page

    Emudeck is nice if you were planning on emulators, other than that the main thing i actually use is the steamgriddb plugin for decky loader, makes it easy to fix all the broken artwork in game mode menus
