So I’m really new to this whole thing in I was just wondering if this would be a good laptop to get because I just want to play some like indie horror games/teardown. Basically get these small games and download some mods on them. I’ve looked into this and everyone says it runs pretty decently but I’m just coming here because I don’t wanna spend $1000 on something that’s gonna run poorly. I would just like some advice or anything that’s helpful. Any help would be appreciated!!

I don’t know if you need a gpu. Somethings like minecraft runs fine with a igpu.
The Ryzen 5 or Ryzen 7 have nice speed and Radeon graphics work well for low to medium tier graphics. I know some play through Steam that helps.
Something like this Asus could be good. I have last year’s Ryzen 7 5700u. The new version is Ryzen 7 7730 or 35u. The Ryzen 5 5500u or 5600 series are really good for gaming. The new version is Ryzen 7 7520u.
If you do need a graphics gpu, I have seen some blogs mentioning good deals on several of the Nitro 5 models. The 4050 is newer, but there nothing really wrong with the 3050 if most games were not super demanding. Amazon US had the 3050 for about $650-675.
