Yesterday I bought a new A54, and I started using it right away, setting it up and playing with different apps (mostly social media and 1 or 2 games).

I was wondering how this impacts the battery, I got it at 40% and let it charge to 60~, used it to 50 % then went to bed and let it charge over night.

Should I have charged it fully before using it? I feel like it using the battery a little too fast, but maybe that’s just my brain playing with me I’m not sure.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

Thx

also keep in mind that OS itselfs is learning your usage patterns first week or two, and trough that time it will start putting some unused apps to sleep, etc… so expect even better battery life, give phone some time to adjust to your personal usage

There is no need to worry about your first week. The phone will study your usage to optimize itself, hence the battery drains more than usual. After doing so, you’ll notice the sudden battery efficiency.

I suggest you use your phone like normal, or maybe a little bit more than normal, so your phone would know your behavior and optimize itself accordingly.

keep “put unused apps to sleep” on and watch it gradually improve battery life. or just put apps manually into sleep and deep sleep.
