I don’t really know what to do. Every time I try to file a claim with UPS it doesn’t let me.
I contacted Valve, not sure what else to do.
Is it not *extremely* suspicious that the driver didn’t post a photo of the delivery?
You should also continue to try to file a complaint with UPS. Call them if you can’t online.
Ah, the nightmare re-awakens. We had so much of this crap with UPS for the original launch too.
Raise a ticket with Valve support and include those screenshots.
This is one of my worries about buying this online around release times, it’s frustrating that things like this happen. I truly hope Valve works it out for you, I am off Friday when mine will supposedly be delivered so I will be legit outside my door all day.
I’d say that this might be an especially touchy time for porch-pirates given that it’s also Black Friday etc this week, so a lot of people might be expecting fancy packages.
It took an hour or 2 for the delivery photo to show up when my order was delivered yesterday
I’ve had this happen a few times before. File a claim, but expect it to show up after thanksgiving, it normally happens to me on Fridays. Won’t get it till Monday at some point

A few years ago I had a USPS carrier come into my gated backyard (with BEWARE OF DOG signs) and put a delivery in the plastic storage bin I have on my deck for my grill stuff. Thankfully I have a security camera looking at my back deck or I likely wouldn’t have found the package until I went to grill again.
I almost had to report my 7900xtx as stolen because the wind was so strong the day it was delivered it slid off my porch and got wedged ina bush. Wouldn’t have happened if shipping comlanies actually had people sign for deliveries anynore.
Once, the delivery guy just hid a package between my husband’s car and the wall. It took me several days to find it (car unused at this time )and when I did, I had already alerted the company and received new items as replacement… oops.
