I bought this stupid thing because I live on the road and suddenly I can’t play the two goddamn games I spent $500 to play on the road because I need internet to play my downloaded games in offline mode? Thats insanely frustrating. Is there a way to get around that? Just gta5 and rdr2 Im pretty pissed if you couldn’t tell

Edit: it launchd once while in airplane mode but now both games say activation required? I bought the damn games…

    Yea. Unit is glitchy for offline gameplay. I can’t get most SteamOS games to launch while offline. Probably needs certifications for activations? I travel A LOT, see this error A LOT. If my flight doesn’t have wifi (super rare), my work around has been to launch my game on airport wifi while at the gate (usually microsoft flight sim), load completely in, then throw it into sleep mode. When I bring it out of sleep mode, its already launched. I have no issues until I want to switch games. In that case, Yuzu. No puns intended.

    The initial boot need Wi-Fi then after that you can play offline as much as you want
