    It doesn’t really matter. Really.

    If you’re that obsessed and nervous about it, get the 512 model and you can choose to get an anti glare screen protector.

      This. Got the etched and was unsure about it at first.

      Once I got it I realised that it’s actually a very minor difference, and in fact I actually prefer the etched screen having now used and seen it in person.

      But ultimately it’s not a huge difference either way.

    Confused about what exactly?

    Both screens are great one is etched and has a frosted look , both are excellent and which one is better is highly subjective and personal preference.

    Can you not see which one is best for your particular preference ? Not everyone has the same opinions

    I have the etched LE and it’s fucking amazing and every thought melts away once you start playing. I also have a glossy portable monitor and again it’s also fucking amazing and I think marginally better in controlled dark environments but again everything melts away once you start playing but it’s unusable when too much natural light… I’m just happy this thing exists and I love my new steamdeck, no regrets
