I just noticed the computer temperature / white point different by default on the LED vs the LE OLED. I noticed it from eyeballing the two devices last night and then today realized it when calibrating one of the screens (I had done the other last night).

I’m not upset about it at all. It’s great I’m just trying to temper expectations and show that even valve isn’t expecting the color temperature to match / be comparable.

For real. I think the new default sRGB setting looks great without it being too overdone compared to native. Boosted is suuuuper saturated. Look at something like glow from a fire in a game while adjusting between the two to see how ridiculously overdone it is.

Agree. Just got my OLED and it’s too warm for my taste so far. Setting to 7000 helps me transition.

My oled is in transit. Can’t wait.

My lcd looks better if I enable “Use Native Color Temp”. So much better actually.

From what I have seen, the BOE panel in the LE model has a pinkish tint to it. Would need other people with an LE and a normal OLED to confirm, but it looks to be the case with your picture and another video that I saw.

Maybe the temperature is the same but LCD has green tint and OLED has red tint. I have both and see this difference too. Didn’t try to match them yet.
