Hi all,
I like many of you got my OLED Deck today. As soon as I got it, I switched the SSD’s so that I could use my 2TB SSD in my new Deck. I moved the 512GB one to my original deck.
I’ve noticed after powering on from battery storage mode (with charger in or out) the screen won’t turn on but the fans will go to full blast. I haven’t had this before despite changing SSD’s before.
I think it could be any of:
- not installing the latest update on OLED before switching (would be bizarre for the screen not to turn on at all)
- battery not being plugged in fully
- SSD not inserted correctly; or foil taped the wrong way
Can anyone help? I will try again at the weekend.

You have to update to steam os 3.5 before going to the OLED or it won’t boot
