This keeps popping up whenever I try to play a game on EPIC. I also can’t seem to play a game in GOG. I know next to nothing about programming. Any help would be appreciated.

No, I just went through the download store
Um ok, I never tried this. But if the error persists you might want to give lutris a shoot. Its rather robust but only on desktop mode. However you can right click the game afterwards and select “add to library” (or something like this) then you can also start it from deck mode.
