Hi Reddit! I wanted to share an exciting update to my App - Pal!

I have finally managed to add the most requested feature - Conversation History!

At a high level, the app works by using the ChatGPT API. This allows you to use GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 through the API rather than having to pay a flat $20/month for ChatGPT Plus!

I’ve previously added some nice to have features such as:
- API Key access to GPT-3.5, GPT-4 (and Google PaLM!)
- DALL-E Image generation support (Also new!)
- Ability to edit both the question and the AI response (Famously missing in the official app)
- Saving multiple prompts
- Saving multiple system messages
- Ability to adjust the temperature
- See the token length and cost of the conversation

And of course, the app collects absolutely no data. You can verify this by going to the app’s App Privacy Report in settings and see that network calls are only being made to OpenAI. Everything is done on-device.

Please remember to get an API Key from OpenAI!
Remember, GPT-4 isn’t free, you just pay per use through the API Key instead.
