Hey everyone im 20 my mum just got me the 512gb LCD steam deck for christmas which i cant use or open til xmas day yikes! lol anyways i wanted the OLED of course but my mum didnt see the justifaction for bigger price for a better screen i tried explaining but of course it fell on deaf ears.
still happy i got a steam deck none the less and cant wait to use. BUTTTTTT i was curious if i purchased an oled replament screen would it work on the LCD steam deck? please dont bully me for the steam deck i got im personally really happy i got one none the less and im stilll gratful but just out of curiousty wanted to see if anyone knew this? :)
Unfortunately not, but after a bit of playing on it you most likely won’t care. You’ll be so caught up how amazing the steamdeck is. Also, the newest update gave huge improvements to vibrancy on the LCD deck so it’s still a great choice! Definitely thank your mom!
