I’ve been seeing posts of people saying the right direction on their DPad doesn’t work and is mushy. I’ve also seen someone say they have dead pixels on their screen.

I bought the LE on the 21st and it packaged sometime last night. Now I’m paranoid I’ve bought a defective model. I’m sure Steam will replace it if I get a defective one but I’m now curious how many of you got a defective one and how many have noticed no issues.

I got the LE model in yesterday, and it’s perfect, no sticky buttons, no dpad issues, no dead pixels. The fact of the matter is, for the 100,000 or so buyers of the LE, you’ll see a post from the 20-40 users who actually have issues.

Why make a post here if your device is working as intended? Take a breath, wait for your device to come in, and enjoy it! It is not likely to have any issue.

Thank you. I’m just a paranoid type person and started seeing posts about issues. I’m still excited as h*ll for my upgrade though 😁

I feel you, it’s definitely good to see that not everyone is affected. I still haven’t even ordered because I’m indecisive about the etched glass. Taki said it looks the same in the dark, Retro Games Corp said glossy looks better in the dark…

Well part of the reason I got the etched glass one was because I wanted 1TB without needing to tinker with the internals myself or pay someone to. Plus, the etched glass provides way less glare in light. Someone else posted a video comparing the LCD, OLED and OLED etched glass and the etched glass has WAY less glare from light.
