Hey there, please help me make my decision!

Both games are on autumn sale right now and I’m interested in both.

I played and love Dark Souls (all) and Demons Souls, Bloodborne and of course Elden Ring. Considering the stuff I’ve seen so far from these two games (not much to avoid spoilers) I guess I like LotF a bit more but I’ve heard really bad stuff about bugs, stuttering and other performance issues.

There have been several updates since release and Steam OS 3.5 dropped. So has anyone recently played both games and could tell me which one runs overall better.

What can I expect? Can I run them smooth with at least 30fps and somehow ‘okish’ looking graphics? Or do I have to drop most settings to aquire solid fps and game looks crappy?

Or maybe give it another wait till Xmas sale for a maybe larger price drop and additional fixes?

Can’t speak for lies of p but lords runs great on my deck, if you have friends to co-op with lords has great multiplayer and overall I prefer its combat over lies, but lies has the better story just not sure how it runs on the deck I would assume it’s fine though.

Is Lies going on sale? Checked not long ago and thought it was still full price.

I have both. I played Lies of P multiple times before LotF came out. The drop in quality was such a whiplash. Don’t get me wrong, LotF is fun but has many many problems and the devs seem very inexperienced when trying to fix it. It just needs more time to bake.

Lies of P is on par with Fromsoft quality. Literally feels like one of their games.

Lies of P. Hands down, as a Soulslike fan, Lies of P borders on masterpiece and is constantly being improved with great changes.

Lords of the Fallen is a slog, it’s pretty, but has honestly terrible level design and by design is just annoying to get through. There’s effectively 3x the amount of enemies there should be and it just makes the game a chore.
