For me it’s when I’m sitting in front of my gaming PC or in bed. I never take my Steam Deck outside my home, it’s a portable console but it’s a hassle just to get it out of my bag then the case when I’m commuting in a train.

Besides using it at home, I’ve taken mine out of the house a few times for flights and waiting rooms, but tbh the device is a bit too large for some public places. I love the flexibility of how much it can do, and have no problems with using it in public, but I do wish it was a bit smaller.
Who knows, maybe theyll drop a mini ;)
Probably not anytime soon. I ordered an Ayn Odin 2 Pro for my compact emu needs.
