I got this hoping I’ll actually enjoy games I’ve had in my library for years and now I don’t even know where to start. And on top of that all the emulator options for nostalgic games and current sales for remake/remasters/GotY editions.

Pure choice paralysis. 😅

Any recommendations would be awesome. I love RPGs, things like Baldur’s Gate 3. Tried it on SD for a few hours and could not get used to the controls after putting in 200+ hours on KB/M.

Portal 2 is my fav on SD so far. Not very long, entertaining, fun puzzles, good dialogue, great with controller. Checks all the boxes for an unboxing game.

Rogue Legacy. Great to play on Deck. There’s a second one but I haven’t tried it yet.

I have both and if you liked the first, you’ll like the second. I tend to go to the second one now whenever I’m feeling an itch to play one.

Feel like most games have been made better because of quick suspend and resume. I’ve been playing a lot more games becuase I can pick up the sd and jump right into a game.

    Gunlocked.

It’s Vampire Survivors, if it were Galaga. Insanely good and feels like it was made for the deck.

    Hades.

    16-bit era games ;)

The Expanse. I never would have found time to play without the deck, but its great to pick it up for an hour on my lunch break.

I don’t know why but cardpocalypse. You play card games in a school that is slowly being overrun by the monsters featured on them. I have fond moments of calling the other kids little shits because they have a better deck or a better start. Feels like simpler times when I get excited like this.
