So, my S9+ is currently doing fine enough. The issues though, are my bluetooth has trouble keeping a consistent signal to my Bose wireless headphones (the signal will hang up for about 10 seconds every few minutes or so, sometimes more often). It doesn’t happen when the headphones are connected to my desktop’s bluetooth. Also, if I’m trying to connect to the free inflight wifi (free movies / shows / flight tracker, not full internet) on Southwest, my Ipad will find the signal fine and connect, whereas the phone lags out / can’t find the signal, etc. Eventually after several tries it will figure it out, but it’s like the wifi just isn’t as strong with sketchier signals.

The phone’s actual performance is still ok, and no hardware issues outside of the charging port not being as tight as it used to be. Just wondering if the issues above would be hardware degradation or something I could fix myself.

Also, I think the S23 would be where I’d jump to next, but I don’t take or care much about photos, or play games. It’s my work phone, and I use it while I’m travelling, so battery is important, so I wonder which version of the S23 would be best for me.

Thanks everyone!

I’m in roughly the same boat as you right now s9+ is showing signs of needing to be upgraded but I’m gonna wait until the S24 is officially announced so I can decide if I want to upgrade to that or the S23 Ultra.
