I want to use it for gaming like the Sims 4 with expansion packs, mods, CC - games like Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Dead by Daylight and similar games. I also want to use it for personal things - some pictures/music/videos. Ideally I’d like to multitask while playing (Sims, other autonomous games). Which what suit me best do you think?
An I9 would usually be used for professionals or people who want the most performance possible. A current gen i5 will be more than enough for all of the games you listed as they’re all a few years old or not very demanding. If you’re looking for a desktop chip anything above the i5 13400F will be fine
