Has anyone gotten the HDR in FF7R to work on Deck yet? Other games with HDR detect it right away, such as Ori and the Will o’ the Wisps, and you can tell immediately by checking in the quick menu, but FF7 does not, it is just that crappy washed out look. Even after relaunching the game with the setting enabled. I have tried with GE-8-20, and attempted to launch with Experimental, but it crashes with a “Compatibility Tool Error.”
I’ve been Ble to find nothing regarding OLED Deck HDR online.
Use experimental and make sure you’re in fullscreen
As I said in the post, experimental crashes the game, but I can try again. Disabling mods may help that, but I doubt it
Trying the Epic Store Version through Heroic, full screen proton experimental, still doesn’t work looks awful
Having the same problem. I’ve played this game in HDR on my desktop and HDR is clearly broken on the steamdeck for this game.
