Has anyone else been experiencing frequent loss of mobile data?

Since the one UI 6.0 update I’ve been experiencing regular mobile data disconnects. I’m using a s23 base. The network status beside the camera holepunch still shows a 5g connection but all apps say there is no internet connection.

These disconnects only seem to occur while travelling, presumably between different data towers. For example, my phone is working fine before I drive a few kilometers, then I have this “no internet connection” issue on arrival.

This has only started to occur since the one UI 6.0 update. Prior to that I had no issues and nothing else has changed.

In order to resolve this I have to switch on airplane mode and then switch it off again which reactivates my data connection.

    I’m using an S22+. Ever since the October monthly update my mobile signal drops way often were before it was rock solid. It’s not a 5g issue only as I use 4g more often. My Wi-Fi signal is not as stable either as well. I can’t even go to my backyard anymore without the wifi disconnecting.

      Sounds like a similar issue. Sorry to clarify, I say 5g because that is mostly what my phone is connected to, but when I lose mobile data it’s all mobile data, not just 5g.

      Sorry to hear that, it’s a nuisance. I restarted my phone and removed physical Sim card to clean it but the problem persisted. Yesterday I switched my network carrier to “manual” and cleared the cache on my web browser. Didn’t experience any data disconnects yesterday but may just be coincidental. Not keen to reset all my Bluetooth/wifi connections or reset my phone.

      To clarify, it is loss of all mobile data, hence all apps saying “no internet connection”. Not just a loss of 5g. I was just highlighting the disconnect between my phone still displaying an active 5g connection but I don’t actually have an internet connection at all.
