    I bought a tab s6 lite two years ago for exactly the same reason. Looking back, I would have liked to have a bit more powerful tablet, so perhaps 6 or 8 gig ram, and perhaps more pixels on my screen.

    S6 lite is often lower priced than the A series and offer better performance and sound.

      This is what I just found out with my research! Snagged a S6 lite 128gb for $250 on Amazon. A series on sale were still over $300-350. Black Friday deals for the win!

      I’m thinking about getting the A7 lite for reading books and watching movies, 32GB with 3RAM is the one I can afford ($100)

      How do you like it? Will it be ideal to read epub books and watch movies on? I might play the occasional game like clash of clans or those mini fun games too

      So do you think I should go for it?

    If you want to go cheap. Get from other brands like Lenovo, Xiaomi, or Oneplus. Samsung entry and midrange tablets aren’t good.

    If you want to go Samsung, see if you can find old flagship tablet like the tab S6. Or if you want to go cheaper then tab S6 Lite.

    I’m th8nking of the same thing. I want to get my wife a tablet to watch Netflix and maybe video call family.

    I have the F7 SE, with the pen. But I don’t think she needs the pen.

    Is the A8 good for you tube and Netflix and stuff?

    I like Samsung but the price is so ridiculously high that I gave up for a long time already. Also because I wanted a Sim card. I checked out the S6 lite antutu and it’s dismal. I have been getting China tablets for a long time for about $140 max.

    The latest one I strongly recommend is Alldocube iplay50 pro. You should be able to find on Aliexpress or banggood. It’s metal build, has Sim card, microsd and the antutu is about 300k.

    If you want cheaper, get their other Iplay50 versions.
