Hi. I know it’s kind of offtopic with the OLED anouncement, but got into emulation on the Steam deck lately and was wondering if there are any good options for a stylus to use on DS titles. Thx!
Nothing Steam Deck related is “off-topic” lol. Ignore the OLED craze.
Using a stylus while emulating the DS touchscreen is a bit fiddly and not really enjoyable in my opinion. I’d try DIY-ing a stylus to see if you like playing with it before spending money on one. You can cut and shove a sponge into the tip of a pen, or you could wrap a pencil in aluminum foil.

Haha imagine if the steamdeck would have a stylus which we indeed also could use for DS emulation, it would be a WiiU, we have come full circle and im all for it xD

I went through a phase of buying every TYPE of stylus I could lay my hands on.
The stylus is NOT the issue. It is the mediocre touch screen on the Deck.
The OLED supposedly “fixes” this, but I’ll get back to you later when I am able to test it with the definitive DS game for this sort of litmus test: Pac-Pix … which is unplayable on the OG Deck due to that mediocre touch screen.
