So I never got into console gaming for different reasons. Sadly that means, I miss some great steam games, that have horribly or simply not working PC controls because they are console ports. So Im thining about buying a steam deck now.

Is the steam deck easy to handle? How big is it, I have smaller hands?

I have very bad wifi in my house, using good old cable connection normally. I guess steam deck uses wifi for downloading and logging in. Can I play games then in offline mode or with no wifi connection? So I can start steam deck and download games near my router and then move away for playing?

Is there a big difference between the older Steam Deck and Newer OLED Steam Deck? The price is not the problem for me but I don’t want to be a beta tester and like to buy an established polished product with little chance for technical problems.
