I have been loyal to Xbox all my life but just ordered my SteamDeck OLED!

I was wondering is there any beginners advice you could give me regarding frame rates or any other adjustable settings that would usually be dealt with by Xbox automatically.

Also are there any games, accessories , software, etc you recommend?

    for high powered games when you adjust down the fps adjust the hz as well.

    I was an absolute beginner as well, as you face issues then look for solutions, it’s great out of the box and then you will know what you need!

    ex. there are very cool options for button mapping, once you find a game you don’t like the controls for, look into that.

    if you get annoyed with the back buttons looks for an accessory that helps

    if you want to put it on your tv look for a dock.
