Hey everyone,

Just received my Steam Deck OLED yesterday. While I was getting it setup I pressed the B button a few times and thought, that feels weird, only to look and notice the button sticks to the shell sometimes.

I’ve opened up a support ticket (a few minutes after finding the issue), any idea how Valve handles these? I’m guessing I have to return it, wait for them to get it, then I’ll get sent a new one and the waiting game resets 😅

I’m curious how widespread this issue is (as my OG is fine), has this happened to anyone else?

    Just received mine today with the same issue. Let me know what happens on your end. Thinking of different options here to see if I can just wear it in.

    Got the steamdeck oled 1tb and my x button sticks and to re tap to pop it back out sent a support request to valve today… sucks but if I have to send it back still have my old steamdeck tryin to sell a 512gb model in the meantime

    Just got mine 2 days ago and same thing is happening to me 🙃 I got the limited edition one too. I seen some people claim sanding the area of shell down a bit works but I messaged valve to send it back. It’s very annoying when the button sticks and sounds like it is widespread sending it back might not do nothing cuz it’ll happen again lol.

    same here. limited oled, b-button stuck down literally the first time I pressed it out of the box. had to wiggle it a bit to get it to pop back up. consistently sticks on pushing anywhere but the far right edge of the button. not sure what I’ll do, rma sucks, but this button is not gonna fix itself I think…
