So I’m planning tp upgrade my cureent A51 to a flagship since I finally have the economic means to, and I also have been driving this mid-tier phone for 3 years already, proving that mid-tier are quite solid and I don’t destroy my phone within 3 years.

So here’s my concern, the S23 currently retails for somewhere around $610, and I’m thinking whether or not that’s a good price to get in, or I should wait til the S24 comes out 3 months later and buy when the prices eventually drops because of previous gen price drop. I don’t want to buy S22 now cause 1. It’s a bit too late 2. And I value the longevity of my battery cause snapdragon 8 gen 1 is not battery efficient enough.

Also, one more question about the S23, I have notice that people have talked about the shutter speed about the S23, have they kinda fix it or something?

Thank you so much for reading regardless.

Sidenote: I have been thinking about the the Pixel 7, but the battery and the fact that there’s still so many features region locked(I live in Asia), and I don’t value the camera too much, so I think buying a phone with a better screen, smaller, lighter and has a better battery suits my needs a bit better.

I doubt S23 will drop drastically more. I got the Plus for like 630 euros and it has been phenomenal. So 600 for S23 sounds solid. Maybe just buy on black friday.

Very nice, how did you find the camera on the s23 plus? Is it quick when launched to snap a quick piece? That’s one of my little issue I would like to know.

Oh I havent used the camera much… but afaik you can actually tinker in the settings to decrease the shutter lag and optimize it, you also have a special camera assistant. Not really much of a camera guy, sorry.
