What am i getting out of the OLED? More battery time? Slightly better detail that my old eyes wont notice? Im already struggling to justify spending money on myself (im not struggling with bills, im just not good at spending money on me). Its about $150 difference. I do get double the storage, but realistically ill never even fill the 256gb because i only have a small amount of games i play in general, let alone ones that id bring with me. My steam deck will essentially be for older, smaller games.
The LED model is perfectly fine for my needs. I play games that don’t use much battery, and the screen looks really good. If you plan on using it a lot on the go, then the battery life in the OLED could be worth it. I have an external battery pack I use for my LED and I usually have access to a wall outlet so power isn’t a big deal to me.
