I’m just wondering if anyone has tried Starfield on the new oled. I love the game and would like to play it on deck. With low settings is a 30fps lock possible? I’m used to it at 30fps on Xbox so it’s a non issue for me.
I cant speak to it, but heres a video from cryobyte from a month ago about its performance. It was done on LCD with 3.5. So it should be relatively comparable to OLED, except OLED will probably pull ahead by a couple of % as well
I think you’ll be fine if you’re used to 30. When I played it on my deck it was totally playable. It didn’t run GREAT but it wasnt bad at all.
Not sure on the 30 lock though, definitely had dips in the 20s. Granted I don’t think I played it on lowest settings either. All in all you should be just fine :)
I played through my first run of Starfield on the Deck. Turn off dynamic resolution (or it’s a blurry mess) and turn on render resolution to like 65-70% on low. In everywhere but big cities, it runs around 30fps on my OG Deck on the newest OS and Starfield patches (before a few fps short). The biggest hubs are mainly quest hubs so it ended up bothering me less as time went by.
Nice thanks.
I just stream it from my pc
