Like I said above, since the 3.5 stable release and the OLED Deck everything seems messed up. Docking with the official Dock only works in 4K 30hz, 60hz is gone, 1440p resolutions are gone everywhere even in gaming mode whole docked and I can’t mount anything USB related without the official Dock. Dongles are not working anymore at all.

What is going on? Wasn’t this long enough in beta?

I’ve had the same issues. I thought it was because I was using a cheap dock or dongle.

On one of my TVs that support 4K 120 Hz in Game mode, it only allows 1080p 120 Hz in game mode or 1440p 60 Hz in regular mode. Also, I can toggle HDR on but it doesn’t toggle HDR on the TV itself.

On my other TV it does 4K 60 just fine but that TV doesn’t support HDR.

Similar issue here, I used to play 1080p 60hz, but since 3.5.5 1080p 60hz could only result in a max of 30fps when set to 60fps for me (and all framerates below that were also incorrect, 30fps being 15fps for example)

I managed to resolve the issue by bumping up to 1080p 120hz, at which point all of the usual framerates became available to me again.

On top of that, I had stutters in select games that never used to be there, I managed to resolve this by setting the steam deck display settings to 1440p.

I managed to resolve this by setting the steam deck display settings to 1440p.

Which is funny cause 1440p doesn’t exist for me anymore. I dock it and there is a lot under 1080p, but after 1080p there is only 4K and that’s it. 1440p is gone here.

I opened a ticket regarding dock issues when the update rolled out. I got a response from Valve saying that they are able to reproduce the issues and are working on a solution. /fingers crossed
