With the rise of people reporting issues like faulty buttons, screens and the like I think I’d be nice to hear how many people already got their OLED Decks and got zero issues with theirs.
Got my OLED everything works except for VPN configs auto-connecting on device reboot this causes the steam deck to get such on “Logging in” screen for long extended period of time before taking me to the home screen
I’m unable to disable “Auto-connect” option because the “Apply” button is persistently grey or disabled in the network configs
Also kdewallet keeps harassing me in desktop mode anytime I add or remove new configs the kdewallet script doesn’t work and kde wallet manager doesn’t workDid a factory reset and image re-flash but still the same result
really agitated by thisWell… no one is posting: my steam deck works as advertised….
It’s the issue with reviews in general. It is rare for someone to take the time to comment when everything is good. So reviews almost always lean negatively.
Yeah except i can’t get wired internet using my USB c dongle and Ethernet cable. Might be user error though.
No issues, but found out other people got some bag for cords? Don’t know what that’s about. Just got the console, charger, and case. Is the bag any good?
No dead pixels, Samsung panel 🥳
Diablo II has completely broken HDR
just dead pixels with the limited edition, everything else is perfect
I had to disable 160 MHz mode on the wifi on my router before it could connect, but the screen is flawless and I’m not having any issues with the buttons or the headphone jack.
Mine (LE) is tip-top. Checked for dead pixels because of all the reports but no dead pixels. Looks great, tried a glossy protector but prefer the etched. It’s like living in a different world than 95% of the crowd.
So literally none of you have loose a,b,x,y buttons that even rattle when the steam deck ist handled or picked up. If so, I’ll definitely return mine cause I can’t play without getting asked to “please press those buttons more quietly” by my girlfriend in the same room. They honestly feel cheap, like an old Gameboy knockoff.
Just fine…but even if it weren’t Valve would take care of it so I wouldn’t be worried at all
Sadly, I have an issue. The left speaker does not work… put a ticket in and waiting to see what comes from that.
I’ve yet to discover any issues with my LE
You lost me after ‘received their Steam Deck OLED’
Me I got my oled today works great super fun
