My favorite games are probably multiplayer arena style shooters like halo and cod. Those of you who enjoy those same games, do you find it harder to perform well using the steam deck and what are some of the methods u use to make it easier to play in multiplayer games. I feel pretty off using the steam deck analog sticks and feel uncoordinated, sometimes I use a dock connector and play through the tv with a controller and I find that the easiest way to play these multiplayer games.

    I think they’re great. It helps if you’re willing to remap buttons and use the gyro.

    Biggest hindrance is if the anticheat is compatible with the deck

    I am training myself to use gyro when ADS, thats about it. I am playing Doom right now and it feels amazing, still haven’t had an instance where it got too dificult because of stick hinderance (playing on hard).

    As a mainly FPS person, I did not enjoy playing FPS games on my deck. I lost most of my controller motor skill playing PC. Still stands true on my Legion Go, at most I’m playing CoD Zombies.
