I was thinking of getting a steam deck to play lower res PC games or pixel games, like stardew valley for example, and other older games that are only released on steam. Some visual novels as well. Is it worth it to get an OLED? Or will LCD work just fine?
So it being an OLED doesn’t mean it somehow only makes higher intensity games look better. It makes EVERYTHING look better, especially older and pixel art games, some would argue that’s where the OLED looks the best! So yes, if you will be playing pixel art type games the OLED is the way to go.
