    I’m expecting a16 on the mini 7 as I’m more interested in the ram bump from 4 to 6. However if they do an m1 (which I doubt due to power consumption) that would be a no brainer buy for me.

      I don’t know how popular the Mini is but as a user myself I wouldn’t mind two versions, a Mini 7 and a Mini Pro. The 7 would have A16/A17 and the Pro would have M1/M2.
