Checking tutorials while I wait for my SD to arrive, they all say to subscribe to the Patreon but the tutorials are 4 months old.

Is it free now?

    It’s always been free, there is Patreon to support the creator and get early access to stuff however.

    Whatever you saw was referring to the windows version which used to be locked behind the Patreon while it was in beta but I believe it is available for free now from the website. The Steam Deck version has always been free.

    Emudeck has always been free. Shooorting the Patreon is just to support the devs.

    It has always been free. Having said that, if you use it often then throw them a bone every once in a while at a minimum.
