Hello everyone. I am currently annoyed at flagship phone that are a) expensive and b) needed to be replace every 2 years. I dont consider myself a heavy phone user (netflix, YT, emails and social medias, slow games) but it has happened to me twice now that my phone becomes slow, the notifications arent working properly and some apps gets buggy. (HUAWEI P20 pro and S21 for reference).

I wanted to know if there was better options inbthe Samsung market. A less performing phone that will last longer? Would the A54, FE23 fill that purpose?

Thank you for your time and help.

Factory reset your phone or at least wipe cache partition.

My brother and friends still use phones older then your S21 and they are fine, even my dads S10+ runs buttery smooth.

Buy A54 at half the price ,if you use phone only for basic stuff and then may be trade in after 2 years with another mid range phone

Two years?? Interesting. Although I am thinking about getting new phones, I have two Galaxy S7 phones that are 7+ years old, they are in pristine condition (always took care of them and used a rugged case) and both still work pretty well. You really have to clear out the file system from time to time to keep them running good.

Personally if you are looking for a long lasting phone I would shop for the best price during the holidays on an S23 rather than stepping down to something with an Exynos processor, like the A54. And the S23 FE has the same troublesome Gen 1 Snapdragon as the S22, I’d avoid that too.
