Amid all the discussion of the differences between the lcd and oled models, I’ve seen a stunning lack of discussion about the change from the harder plastic tops on the lcd to the more rubbery feel of the oled. Did anyone else notice this? Which one do you prefer?
I received my OLED yesterday after near 18 months with an LCD. In my view, the LCD ones were so slippy I found them unusable and always added rubber thumbsticks for grip.
The OLED ones however are superb. Really grippy with a more rubbery centre and slightly raised outer ring that my thumb grabs to naturally.
For me it’s been a more welcome upgrade than the screen (which too is immense)!
