I’ve seen in other subredits the polls can be very helpful. For instance, I can imagine how a poll about the spoken issues with the BOE displays on new SD OLEDs could easily answer the question many of us asking themselves. Are the BOE displays really more defective? Making any decisions/conclusions just upon a chaotically written text responses, together with unknown percentage of currently shipped LE vs “standard” SD OLEDs, it is just not right. I feel like there is an useless hysteri ongoing.

      I haven’t ordered LE, but I’d like to stop this nonsense hysteria about it, just because I don’t like stupidity.

    There is definitely a lot of hysteria on this sub lately. Etched vs gloss, boe vs samsung. It’s exhausting. But just for peace of mind, there are lots of posts about LEs with zero issues. Mine included

      100%. It’s just like what happened at pcmasterrace when the 4090 came out. Immense amounts of coping and outright lies to justify not upgrading. For some reason it’s not enough that a person just not upgrade. They need to prove to everyone else that the old unit is better.

      I agree it is exhausting.
