I have an ASUS TUF FX505GM with an Intel Core i7-8750H and a GTX 1060.

So when I play a not so heavy game like dota 2 the usual temps I get are around 87°C to 94° C on the CPU and 79°C to 86°C for the GPU. Now my concern is that my other laptop which has an i7 7700HQ and a GTX 1050ti has a significantly lower temp like around 10°C less for both cpu and gpu than this one. P.S. Both of them have already been cleaned, repasted, and repadded and also there are different brands Acer and Asus.

So is it normal? Should I be concerned?

yes! my laptop used to do that, replaced thermal paste with gelid gc-extreme and temps dropped 20+C. before that brought laptop to a shop for paste replacement, they probably had some crappy paste that didnt do much and thought my laptop was going to toast. turns out just need a quality thermal paste and not some no name brand
