• some if not all ai features will be subscription based -the 5x telephoto lense takes horrible pictures -titanium frame proved to be even more fragile that aluminum frame on the iphone, there’s a huge chance it’ll be the same with the S24.

2nd and 3rd are deal-breakers for me. Any of these make you wanna just get the S23?

Where did you read that the AI services would be subscription based? That’s interesting and would really suck if true. I don’t care about titanium or steel or aluminum as long as they don’t jack up the price.

The AI features won’t be subscription based… Now. They will let us use them for a number of years, get used to depending on them, and then make it subscription.

I am an American living in china. I fully expect any AI features to be entirely useless for me, as Samsung does not allow me to run the American software on my Chinese devices.

I mean hell, Bixby has been around for a decade… Completely useless. I ask it the weather… It tells me there is no weather module installed, and best I can tell, there’s no way to do so. Play a song on Spotify? Can’t do that.

I don’t think AI features will be subscription based. The most significant turn off for me would be the Exynos processor. They could never get it right.

Here is another big con for many outside US.

If rumors are true, only S24 Ultra will have Snapdragon in all regions.

So many regions will once again have the inferior Exynos, on the S24 and S24+.

    Same story with S23 FE.

Big L from Samsung as usual.

If you have 22 or 23, don’t even bother with 24. The upgrade isn’t that big.

It’s for those with 21 and under

It’s not Exynos that’s the problem, it’s just that Samsung suck at making chips. Give those chip designs to TSMC and they would be amazing.

Not to mention that Exynos is a thing again. Personaly, I am going to use the S24 as a stepping stone to get the s23. Prices of the s23 should go down a month after the s24 releases.

You are quoting rumours as facts. I am getting the S24 Ultra because it will be a great phone better than even the S23 Ultra and a good upgrade from my S22 Ultra which is a good phone also.

Samsung mentioned two years ago they were going to use a titanium frame in an upcoming model so it ins ot just because Apple did nor is the titanium frame the cause of Apple’s issue.

" Quote from Apple “The company said the new phones’ titanium frame and aluminum substructure aren’t contributing to the issue, and that they dissipate heat better than the stainless steel used in prior Pro models.”

Exynos 2400 looks good, gen 3 looks very power hungry, most likely shit battery time this time around.
