I’m no expert but I do have a new a54, I did a search in the apps section and don’t seem to have a call recorder built in. I know there are a lot of free apps you can download to do it though, because we did that for our business phone.

I just wanna say you’re mom is very tech savvy for an old person. My mom wouldn’t know what a call recorder is. She just got the s23 ultra because it has the biggest screen. That’s all she cares about. Old, wants huge font, huge screen. Money doesn’t matter since old people benefitted from some amazing economics.

Now there’s a chance your mom is not really old and you’re just very young, in which case, congrats and i hate you 😀

I’m not very young and yes my mom is not old yet I realized she was correct because some of the phone do not record phone calls or have NFC and you need you add more money for them to be active

The A54 is a great midrange phone but just to shed a bit of background info on call recording is Google made it so that after android 10, apps that would record calls don’t have access to the microphone during a call… If there is a workaround I don’t know about but I believe call recording out of the box isn’t a thing and has its limitations
