I loved this game when i was young. I tried every compatibility tool, even installed proton GE but can’t get it to work. It’s marked as playable on steam.

Was ready to get Magicka 2 just to play this game with nephews but the second game has “unplayable” status so my hopes are on this right now

    swap to desktop mode
    change proton to 6.3-8
    launch the game
    accept the stupid thing that needs you to launch a web browser
    close the game
    swap back to game mode

      Sadly it’s running install script directx and then the play button goes back to “play”. I even tried uninstalling and then reinstalling. I made sure to go with proton 6.3-8 but no luck. Maybe it did work in the past but right now this doesn’t seem to do the trick
