My S8+ is in pristine condition. Everything works as intended, my screen or back is not cracked or anything. However, the battery has gotten seriously bad over the years to the point it only last 3-4 hours (with AOD). I have a 256GB SD card to store all my stuff. Should I change the battery or move on?
If money’s not an issue, then just upgrade. That’s a nearly 7 year-old phone.
Money is a bit of an issue right now, since I am currently spending heavily on home improvements. A truly expensive errand!
Understandable. If you want a notably cheaper upgrade, last year’s base S22 is currently on sale at Samsung for $460.
Samsung also offers $200 trade-in value for your S8+ if you purchase this year’s base S23 (so about $600 after trade-in).
And if you change your mind on the S23 Ultra, Best Buy currently has it on sale for $900.
