The video was cringe but the points I’m trying to make are first, It would help the eWaste problem since not everyone would have a use for a 64 GB SSD of that size, it would cost less to buy your own SSD if you don’t want the extra hardware perks, 3rd it would be dumb to need an SD Card right out the gate (and it would be easier to manage it all on 1 storage device) And, it’s easy to do to add an SSD and will make a Steam Deck EVEN CHEAPER THEN THE SWITCH! (Had to say it twice since Nintendo should switch it up and put in good hardware in their stuff.)

    No, the majority of people just want to buy something and it work.

    It would be cheaper than the other models, there’d probably be a ton of issues with uninformed people buying them, and not realizing now that they need to go get 3rd party hardware for it to work. On top of that, any incompatibilities with the SSDs they use will become Valve’s problem.

    It’d be better to just add a second NVME port.

      No, it wouldn’t be Valves problum and valve is also great at marketing things to specific people so they can sell it to modders and not everyone is an idiot.
