This would be a much needed christmas gift for my mom. The only thing that’s stopping me from almost buying it right now is the 4gb of ram (there are 6 and 8gb versions but they’re not available here for some reason), she only uses her phone for whatsapp/viber, and to read news/watch youtube.

The only thing I’m worried about is longevity. Is it worth it?

    If you’re on a budget, consider the OnePlus Nord N30 instead.

    Same processor, 8GBs of RAM, and it comes with a 50W charger in the box.

          I agree with you drug1988. I bought my mum the s10+ many years ago for her birthday. She only had cheap phones before hand that were so slow and couldn’t download apps etc. She was so excited when she could actually do things now she plays games (crosswords…) And can take decent photos and videos of things. She still uses it till this day and imo the best $1000 spent I love my mum haha
