I am currently a student wanting to pursue masters in data analytics. I use a lot of python for small personal projects along with power BI, SQL, EXCEL, IOT tools and wanting to learn TABLEAU and R. I have used a windows machine till today but it is very old and I have been wanting to change my laptop since a while. The option is either a 14" macbook pro with m2 pro chip Or a windows machine with atleast i7 13th gen process and a nvidia 4050 series graphic card. Can anyone help? Which is better for me macbook or windows laptop?

    For battery life, Mac is definitely much better, and Windows laptops will lower their performance by a huge margin if you disconnect them from the charger.

    So if you need to use the laptop for a long time while not connected to a charger, then pick the MacBook. Else, pick a Windows PC, it will be more powerful (but also much hotter).
