    Does the touch screen even matter with a Steam Deck? So far I’ve only used the buttons and the track pads on mine.

      It makes the on-screen keyboard more or less usable, and there’s plenty of games which work better with touch than trackpad control.

      It does if you use the desktop mode a lot to tinker around with things. The LCD SD is a pain in the ass in desktop mode because of it, the trackpad helps but it’s still slower than it would be with an accurate touch screen.

      That’s… assuming that the touch controls have been improved in desktop on the OLED, I don’t have one so I can’t check to be sure
