Hey guys, I currently have the 512GB LCD model that’s been upgraded to a 1TB SSD. It’s probably my favorite device I own.

My fiance has started taking it over so now I’m looking at getting a second deck, but I’m torn on which OLED model I should get. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    I was a bit petrified of the etched glass … but now that I have it? My fears are alleviated. Go 1TB non-LE!

    I’d say pick the largest size unless money is an issue, then pick the cheaper model (and no, I don’t mean the LCD version of the Steam Deck).

    If you feel comfortable upgrading the storage, then it’s ultimately a matter of preference between the etched or non etched glass. That said, I would advise staying away from the LE despite the cool colors unless you’re willing to play the “Best On Earth” lottery.

        It seems as of now that it’s based on which screen you get. As far as we can tell the non LE models went with the Samsung display and the limited edition models got the BOE display. As someone who has a LE BOE display and one center screen dead pixel I can say that unfortunately I’ve experienced this. I’m sure this will get downvoted as a large majority of dead pixel LE complaints seem to be getting downvoted but you can always do your own research and see what you feel more comfortable purchasing.

        Yeah haven’t heard much of the non le decks getting dead pixels whereas myself and many other le owners have found dead pixels
