Just because you can’t see them easily doesn’t mean they aren’t a problem. Enough pressure on the back of the screen to cause bumps like that could cause issues with the screen. I’d definitely send that back. Luckily mine has no issue and based on the 12 Pixel 8 phones I’ve seen (including mine, a co-worker’s and phones in stores) and all the owner comments I’ve read it does seem to be rare to have those bumps.
I checked mine after reading the article and I have 2 tony dots up top but I literally had to search for them under the brightest lights in my house with my phone screen off. Doesn’t seem like an issue imo
Anyone look at the article? Those bumps are literally barely visible ONLY when the screen is off and ONLY in some lighting conditions.
Just look at the picture in the article, it’s a nothingslider. (not big enough for burger)

Many Apple Watches have these „bumps“ as well. I really don’t see the the issue at all.
