I received my limited edition yesterday, and I’m beyond excited about it. The screen and smoothness are blowing me away. Sadly, the first thing I noticed is the bumpers sound and feel weird. It almost feels like the springs are audible and feel weird. My LCD deck feels and sounds way better.

I’ve already opened a ticket but I’m curious if any of you oled owners are hearing/feeling this.

I did the same with mine and my ex-LCD Deck about to be sold. While they sound different, they feel very similar (press force, tactile feedback point, etc.), almost to the point where I think I can’t tell a difference.

I believe that’s intended . They were redone . I enjoy the bumpers, but don’t have anything to compare it to

may be the transparent material makes them more “springy”? i have the black and i wouldnt describe them as springy. it feels tighter and easier to press. it was redesigned so the whole button actuates down and no dead zone near the shorter hinge like on the lcd model.

This comment is the answer! I have a transparent back on my LCD model and the sound profile and feel of my buttons changed with the swap.
